MISSION

Enriching lives and strengthening community through skateboarding.

Talent Skatepark Board of Directors and original owners Hannah and David grinded hard to reopen our beloved Talent. A heartfelt thank you for the generous contributions making this community dream a reality. Talent Skatepark re-opened in a new location with a new park in January 2020 (thank you to all of our believers that donated and made it happen). We look forward to welcoming you to 266 Queen City Park Road, Burlington!  We are happily homed within the Burton Snowboard campus!

Our history

Talent Skatepark and Shop was born in 2001, barely survived the fall of 2008, and continued to support the skate community until it couldn’t sustain; sadly closing it’s doors in August of 2018. The community rallied and raised efforts and financial contributions to re-open us 1/20/2020 as a reecognized 501(c)(3) !

Over the almost two decades of operation Talent became a second home to thousands of local youth and a place to purchase everything skateboard, scooter, safety, and inline related. With the doors closed, the community sunk, depression hit, and kids lost their core crew and lifestyle as active skaters. Luckily, a concerned and passionate group of parents contacted previous co-owner, and together they birthed a plan to reopen the safe haven.
